While we move through the summer of 2021, there's some uncertainty regarding the way Rotary continues to offer those human connections Rotary members have appreciated previously. While the adage of 'hands in face space' will undoubtedly be part of our ongoing practice, it's evident that the confidence building is evident and connections between face-to-face are happening. Rotary's changed. As we flow through the summer months in 2021 there's a lingering sense of uncertainty about whether our work with society will include the much-valued human connection experienced by Rotary members of the past. While the "hands looking outwards" idea is likely to become part of regular routine at our club, there's no doubt that there is a feeling of trust is developing and more people make face-to-face connections. Rotary is, however, having evolved. Volunteers from the community clean up garbage.
