Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in numerous television shows. She is an American actor from Afghanistan that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in, her family moved towards America. US. The family was given asylum, and were allowed to remain. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters and was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on the television industry by appearing on several National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For the performance, she was nominated during the Festival of Cannes for the Best Actress Award. She has appeared in television shows like How I Met Your Mother as well as Entourage, Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych as well as Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in 2008, as a member of General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. As she played Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care on Night Shift's second season. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly as the Prada actress in HBO's Entourage.
